Paper Flowers

Para la fiesta de bienvenida de mi hermana estuve buscando en varios blogs diferentes ideas para decorar mi apartamento. El tema era Bananos (el apodo de mi hermana es ana banana), entonces hice todo amarillo: cupcakes amarillos, galletas amarillas, etc. y quería que la decoración también fuera amarilla. Encontré bombas, servilletas de bananos, y un blog en el que enseñan a hacer flores en papel crepé. El blog se llama "How About Arange" (en:), entonces les quiero mostrar mi intento con las flores, los pasos que hice, y cómo las usé, para que las puedan hacer en sus casas.

I was looking in different blogs for ideas to decorate my place for my sister's Welcome Home party - the theme was Bananas (I call her ana banana), so I wanted everything to be yellow: yellow cupcakes, yellow cookies, etc. and I wanted the decoration to be yellow as well. I found yellow balloons, banana themed napkins, and a blog where they teach you how to make flowers out of crepe paper. The blog is called "How About Orange" (you can find them at: http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2011/04/make-flowers-from-crepe-paper.html), so I want to show you my attempt to make these flowers, the steps I took, and how I used them, so that you can make them at home.
